Our 2005 “Summer Residence” program was an amazing experience for the players who joined us at NIFC. The professional team, led by 1994 World Cup Champion “Zinho”, won the Rio de Janeiro State League Championship. Program residents had a unique opportunity to experience the magnitude of Brazilian’s passion, love and dedication to the world’s greatest game.
We are accepting applications for the 2006 Summer Residency program. We have limited space available, so please “hurry” and make your space reservation NOW!
The closest experience any foreign player will have to come to Brazil and immerse into a professional setting where coaches and players work daily with a common goal, BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE.
At Nova Iguaçu F.C., for the duration of the program ( 4-8-12 or more weeks ) you will be treated and coached like any other Brazilian player. We believe this total immersion will bring positive results for you not only on the field developing your skills as a soccer player, but also off the field as a human being who will assimilate cultural traits and differences encountered in the diversely rich Brazilian culture.
